Here is my short description of my trip to cremia:
I started my trip at the train station taverne-toricella in ticino sotto cenerni. From there I climbed up the very nice classic bike route via Tresserte - Monte Bar - passo San Lucio where I crossed the border to Italy. Then I rode down on the italian side, passed Buggiolo - Cancellino and Carlazzo. The last part I had to ride on the road all the way down to Menaggio and anlong the coast of the Lario I finally reached Cremia.
Thank you very much for your frendly housing. I can definitely recommend your B&B!

When Andy called to tell he was going to be late, I tried to understand how much late he would have been.
I found out he was already in Italy, somewhere between Porlezza and Menaggio.
Well, then you are very close, I said, Do not worry 5 minutes are not a problem.
"but I am by bike".
Thus he arrived later than agreed, but it was not a problem at all.
My regret is that we could not advice him that he could have travelled on a cycling road, not on the main road
The ancient railway road, Menaggio - Porlezza, is very nice and safer than the road.
